Spray Technology Seminar
June 23 - 24, 2008
This two-day seminar is dedicated exclusively to spray characterization
and should be part of your continuing education. You'll be exposed to
both theory and practical information you can apply immediately in your
operation for process improvements and efficiency gains.
Here’s a sample of the things you’ll learn:
- How spray nozzles work. Flow rate equations, spray angle characteristics, spray patterns, spray coverage, hydraulic vs. air atomization, atomization mechanisms and more.
- Spray nozzle characterization and measurement methods. Flow rate, viscosity, pressure, specific gravity and spray distribution/patternation measurements.
- The importance of drop size in spray applications. Drop size collection techniques, measurement techniques and how to analyze and interpret drop size data.
- The impact of drop size in critical applications such as coating and spray drying including the principles of coating suspensions and evaporation.
- How to identify and solve problems that may be caused by poor spray performance.
- Ways to extend nozzle life.
- How to improve spray efficiency in critical applications.
- Ways to utilize spray characterization in new product development, QC/QA and scale-up… and save time and money.
- How to evaluate spray performance in your environment and know when to ask for expert help.
In addition, you will spend time in our state-of-the-art spray labs equipped with spray patternators, spray impact testers, drop size and velocity analyzers, wind tunnel and more. You will perform tests, collect data and interpret the results.
Review the seminar details and seminar syllabus for more information.
The seminar also offers you the opportunity to exchange information with other seminar attendees faced with similar spray challenges and interact with our expert staff and seminar speakers.
Anyone involved with spray applications should sign up for this seminar
and learn directly from the worldís leading manufacturer of spray nozzles
and spray systems with 70 years of experience.
This seminar is not based on the study of spray technology. It is the
result of decades of worldwide experience with spray system optimization
in more than 200 industries.
