Prototype Design and Fabrication,
Proof-of-Concept

Helping customers find new ways to spray as part of new product/process development is one of the things we do best. Nearly 80% of our projects involve prototyping, fabrication and proof-of-concept work. Our engineers are experts in spray technology and develop customized solutions on a regular basis. Here are just a few recent projects:

  • An adjustable spray header system design minimizes excessive misting, provides uniform coverage of paint on non-woven material and increases throughput.
  • New effervescent atomizing technology enables the efficient spraying of heavy oils.
  • A new delivery method applies flame-retardant solutions – previously thought to be un-sprayable – to fabrics.
  • A new nozzle design enables spraying of porous microparticulates for specialized drug delivery.

We’ll take your idea and turn it into a nozzle, header or spray system to accomplish your objectives. We use state-of-the-art tools such as Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to simulate and predict spray performance using your actual process conditions and 3-D CAD software to reduce time to fabrication.

Working with us for concept validation or a new spray nozzle design entails no further obligation to us. If you need further assistance, we will refer you to other divisions within our organization for nozzle or system production and/or purchase. Or, you can choose to implement the solution yourself or contract with others. However, most of our customers use our services on an on-going basis to keep pace with changing process conditions and changing technology.

Call 1.800.95.SPRAY for a no-obligation consultation. Tell us about your new product or process and we’ll tell you how we may be able to help. If appropriate, we’ll schedule a no-obligation meeting to review your specifications for a new concept. There’s no risk and the reward potential is high – new and better ways to spray.
